Delhi Technology University is a State University with NAAC accreditation. DTU also has approvals from UGC and NBA for all the UG and PG programs. DTU is a highly ranked institution, and it has been recognized not only at the National Level but also internationally. In the 2021 QS Asia University Rankings, DTU secured a 551-600 band rank. Admission at DTU is strictly based on entrance test merit, whereas seat allotment takes place through counselling. The popular courses at DTU are B Tech, BDS, MBA, and M Tech.
B Tech Admission is based on the DTU cutoff 2025 JEE Mains and 10+2 academic marks. Henceforth, DTU accepts the national-level entrance exam as JEE Main and does not conduct any other particular entrance exam, additional test, or interview. While preparing the DTU B Tech merit list, 40% weightage will be given to the 10+2 marks and 60% to JEE Main cores. The final selection criteria or seat allocation in DTU will be done through JAC Delhi Counselling.
To get a B Tech admission seat, candidates must score well in an entrance test identical to the Delhi Technological University B Tech cutoff. The cutoff list will be published based on the categories, i.e., General, DTU cutoff 2025 for OBC, EWS, SC, and ST. The DTU JAC cutoff includes the opening and closing ranks of Delhi candidates as well as students from outside the Delhi region.
