Delhi NEET counselling 2024 Registration is expected to start in the last week of July. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), on behalf of the Medical Council Committee (MCC), will release this schedule for NEET counselling.

The Delhi NEET counselling will be held for 85% of the state quota seats, which will be reserved for MBBS or BDS admissions. Moreover, 15% of the AI quota seats will be filled via the MCC NEET counselling 2024 process.

The registration fee for Delhi counselling NEET is Rs. 1500 for general category students and Rs. 1000 for reserved category students. Usually, there will be three rounds of counselling. Eligibility Requirements for Delhi NEET 2024 Counselling

In 2024, students must meet all of the following eligibility criteria to participate in Delhi counselling:

  • Allotment process: To qualify for NEET counselling, students have to register on the official MCC website.
  • State education requirement: Students must have completed the 12th grade from any recognized board or university to be eligible for counselling. The state or central education board must affiliate with the school.
  • Citizenship: to be eligible for NEET counselling, a student must be an Indian citizen and hold all the required legal documents.
  • Domicile certificate: students must have at least one parent with a domicile certificate issued by the Delhi state government that proves their residency and connection to the state.
  • Qualification for the UG exam: to register for Delhi counselling in 2024, students must pass the NEET UG 2024 exam by achieving the minimum cut-off marks.
  • Age criteria: To apply for NEET counselling in 2024, students must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the application year.

Procedure for Delhi NEET 2024 Counselling

  1. Visit the official Delhi NEET counselling website.
  2. Click on the new registration button, which will be visible on the homepage.
  3. On the next page, students have to fill in details like name, address, education, category, and date of birth.
  4. Create a PIN and login details, like a password, to finish setting up the account on the MCC website.
  5. Sign in to your account.
  6. Please upload documents such as the NEET result 2024, the admit card, and the domicile certificate.
  7. Upload all the images of your signature, passport-size photo, and thumb impression in the required format.
  8. Click on Preview and submit.
  9. Pay the daily NEET fee online using a debit card, credit card, or internet banking.
  10. Save and print the counselling application form for future reference.
  11. Participate in the chosen field, rounds, and institute, which will be based on your preferences.
  12. After checking the seat allotment list for 2024 in PDF form, students must download the allotment letter.
  13. To confirm MBBS or BDS admission in Delhi, you must go to the allotted college, submit all the required documents, and pay the admission fee.

Seat Allotment Process for Delhi NEET 2024

Officials will conduct the MBBS seat allotment 2024 rounds based on students' choices, the seat matrix, reservation criteria, and NEET rank and score. The seat allotment list will include student details, the final exam score, and the allotted college and course. Following the posting of the list, students are required to choose an option according to their preferences.

  • Choice 1: students were happy with their allotted seats and did not want to participate in any further counselling rounds.
  • Choice 2: Students who are happy with the allotted college but want to participate in the next round of the counselling process.
  • Choice 3: students who are not satisfied with the Delhi MBBS seat allotment and want to join the next seat allotment process.
  • Choice 4: Students were not satisfied with the allocated MBBS or BDS College and also did not wish to participate in any other Delhi counselling grounds.

After each round of Delhi NEET counselling, the seat allotment result will show which college students are considered. Students selected for MBBS or BDS counselling must visit their assigned institute within the given timeframe. There will be a physical verification round, after which students will have to pay a tuition fee to secure their admission. When reporting to college, students have to bring all the important and necessary documents mentioned earlier to avoid any problems.
