The National Testing Agency, NTA, conducts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for UG admissions. It admits students across various universities and affiliated institutes in India. The CUET registration 2025 will begin soon on the official NTA CUET UG website. Candidates have to apply online and ensure they meet the CUET eligibility criteria for the academic year 2025. Reviewing the CUET mapping criteria while filling out the application form is important for applicants. Now, applicants can select a maximum of 5 CUET subjects. The CUET UG 2025 will be conducted in May 2025.
The UGC previously announced changes to CUET. It included the removal of certain subjects, modification in the exam, pattern, and standardization of exam duration and the number of questions. The total subjects in CUET UG have been reduced from 63 to 37. The removed subjects include 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects. According to the official CUET UG notification, the exam will be conducted throughout more than 15 days window.
