The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently disclosed plans for the upcoming CUET Exam. CUET UG 2024 hybrid mode of exam is an innovative approach. Certain examination centers will administer computer-based tests (CBT), while others will revert to the traditional pen-and-paper format.
According to a senior official at the NTA, For the Academic Session 2024-25, CUET (UG) – 2024 will be conducted in the hybrid mode. The decision to conduct the exam as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) or in pen-and-paper mode will be at the discretion of the NTA, which will consider various factors.
Furthermore, M Jagadesh Kumar, chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), has highlighted the NTA's exploration of the possibility of conducting papers with a large registration in the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode. This strategic initiative aims to broaden the spectrum of available test centers by enlisting a greater number of schools, thereby ensuring that students can conveniently locate centers within their towns or cities, thus minimizing the necessity for extensive travel.
As the CUET-UG 2024 exam embraces this hybrid mode, candidates are urged to remain vigilant for official announcements from the NTA concerning any further updates or modifications to the examination process.
