COMEDK Counselling 2022 Choice-Filling Procedure

Another extension has been provided to the COMEDK 2022 choice filling date. The COMEDK Counselling 2022 choice-filling round was scheduled to start on September 1. The updated COMEDK choice filling date will soon be available on the authorities' website.

How Should the COMEDK 2022 Choice Filling Be Done?

Candidates must carry out the choice-filling as part of the COMEDK Counselling 2022 procedure by following these steps:

• Go to COMEDK's official website comedk.org of the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).
• The candidate must use their login information to access the website's Applicant Login.
• When a candidate logs in, the choice filling tab will be accessible if the candidate's document verification is complete. Select the tab.
• The candidate can now include their top-priority college and course options.
• Add, remove, and save buttons can be used by candidates to carry out the related activities.
• To verify that the choices are filled in, click the preview button.
• Click the "submit" button once you've finished filling out the choices.

Who can attend COMEDK 2022 Counselling?

• Candidates who completed the COMEDK UGET test
• The second and third rounds of the counseling process are open to applicants who have completed class 12 or the corresponding with a minimum grade point average of 45% (or 40% for SC, ST, and OBS of the State of Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, as well as Biology/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Biotechnology/ Computer, Supplementary candidates.

How to Cancel COMEDK UGET Allocated Seats for 2022

Follow these steps if you want to give up or cancel the seat that was assigned to you:

• Step 1: Look for the surrender dates on the COMEDK UGET website.
• Step 2: After logging in, choose "Surrender Tab" from the drop-down option on the application form.
• Step 3: Complete the online surrender form and print it.

Option 1: Please bring a DD for INR 5000 and a copy of the surrender form with you if you plan to attend round 2 to look for a different college or program (see the document list for further information).

Option 2: Please choose option 1 if you do not want to participate in round 2 and do not want to choose a seat for round 2.

Process for COMEDK UGET Seat Allocation in 2022

The COMEDK 2022 seat allocation is handled by the organization in charge of the tests. After the 1^st  round of COMEDK UGET 2022 Counselling, the COMEDK 2022 seat allocation procedure will start. Each category (General Merit, HKR/Tulu Minority/ Non-Karnataka Christian Minority, and Karnataka Christian Minority) will receive a special seat allocation for COMEDK UGET. The process for allocating seats for each category is outlined below.

General Merit Candidates, Tulu Minority, and Christian Minority of Karnataka

Only candidates meeting the general merit quota are eligible for the first round of seat distribution. Following the allocation of seats to the Christian, Tulu, and HKR minority groups, the allocation of seats will only occur if there are still open seats. General Merit is given preference for seat allocation, followed by HKR (Hyderabad-Karnataka Region), Christian-Karnataka, and Tulu.

The minority of non-Karnataka Christians

In the first round of seat distribution, there are no seats for Christian minorities outside Karnataka. Based on their merit rank and preference, non-Karnataka-Christians would only be given access to open seats in the Karnataka-Christian category.

Counseling Fee Refund Policy for COMEDK UGET 2022

• A candidate must resign during the designated dates to receive a fee refund less a deduction of INR 5000.
• To familiarise themselves with the process, students can review the Seat Surrender Procedure. The reimbursed cash will be sent in the form of a crossed check made out to the candidate alone.
• The original COMEDK assignment letter, bank receipt, and verification card must all be brought by the students.
• At the time of counseling and college acceptance, a candidate can be requested to have all original documents, the Transfer Certificate, and Migration Certificate validated.

How to check whether the document is verified?

• Your application form will be updated with the status of the document verification.
• You must constantly log into your application to see the document verification status.
• Your counseling registration and verification status may display as "Rejected" if inaccurate or unreadable papers are uploaded.
• Candidates with incomplete or refused document verification status cannot participate in the next steps.
• Your application may be rejected at any point during the counseling/ admission process if there is an erroneous declaration in the application form or supporting documentation.
• Only candidates whose documents have passed verification will move on to the next step.

Important Instructions for Choice Filling

Candidates should remember the following advice when they make COMEDK Counselling selections:

• Candidates can select any college during round 1 of COMEDK Counselling 2022.
• They should be given the option to think about it when choosing seats.
• After the deadline, candidates won't be able to add or amend their selections. They won't be able to make modifications once the lock period begins.
• The choice filling list will not be considered for seat allocation if it is discovered empty.
• The candidate will have one more opportunity to add, remove, or reorganize their preferences if they are not given a seat before the end of round 1 due to a lack of seats.
• Candidates can preview the options and, if necessary, print them off.
