CMAT 2024, organized by the NTA, took place on May 15. The CMAT 2024 Result is expected to be released soon. According to an analysis of the exam paper, the difficulty level this year was moderate. The highest CMAT cutoff in 2024 ranges from the 95th to 99th percentile, but many business schools also accept students with scores between the 50th and 60th percentile.
The CMAT answer key 2024 and response sheet will be posted on the official website. According to the testing agency, students can download the answer key for two to three days. Once the period for challenging the answer key is over, the NTA will announce the CMAT results and release the final answer key and merit list.
The CMAT score will grant admission to students at AICTE-approved institutions, universities, departments, and affiliated colleges. The CMAT 2024 exam had five sections: quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Altogether, there were 100 questions worth 400 marks.
The CMAT score versus percentile for 2024 works like this: your raw score out of 400 marks in the CMAT exam is converted into a percentile. This percentile is calculated based on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam in your specific slot, the total number of students who took the exam, and the overall difficulty level of the exam.
The NTA has established a method to calculate the CMAT percentile from the raw score. For instance, a raw score of 170 in the CMAT might place you at the 65th percentile, while a score between 251 and 342 could place you between the 95th and 99.99th percentiles. The process of calculating CMAT scores versus percentiles involves several steps. Here’s how it works for MBA admissions:
On behalf of AICTE, the NTA has made several changes to the CMAT 2024 exam, including its scoring pattern and duration. Key changes are:
