CMAT 2021: NTA Announced the Exam Schedule and Change in Exam Pattern. National Testing Agency will conduct CMAT 2021 Entrance Exam on 31st March 2021 in online mode as a computer-based test. The morning session will be from 9 Am to 12 pm. The evening session will be from 3 pm to 6 pm. NTA has introduced some changes in CMAT 2021 Exam Pattern; there will be a new section called "Innovation & Entrepreneurship," which comprises 25 questions. Candidates who opt for an additional section will be getting an extra time of 30 minutes to solve it. To be noted, there will be no changes in CMAT 2021 Syllabus.
NTA annually conducts CMAT exam for aspirants seeking admission to the MBA & PGDM Courses in more than 1000 B-Schools across India. Earlier, CMAT 2021 examination was scheduled between 22nd to 27th February 2021, but the exam was postponed because of AICTE's proposal to implement an optional section for CMAT. Also, NTA has extended the last date for the registration process.
As per the revised exam pattern, now CMAT 2021 includes five sections, namely Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and newly added Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Every section carries an equal weightage of 25 questions. Students can switch between the sections as per their convenience, and there will be no sectional time limit in CMAT 2021. As per the marking scheme, +4 marks will be given for every correct answer, and the wrong answers -1 negative mark.
NTA is going to issued CMAT 2021 admit card on 24th March 2021. Candidates who have registered successfully for CMAT by paying the fees will access admit card online mode by visiting the CMAT official web portal (@ cmat.nta.nic.in). To download the admit card, candidates must use their registered login identifications (Application Number and Date of Birth/Passwords), which generates during the CMAT 2021 Application Process.
Aspirants will not be allowed to take up entrance exam if they fail to produce CMAT 2021 admit card on exam day at the exam center. Also, candidates should carry any valid ID proof for verification purposes.
