CLAT 2020: Examination postponed again, to be held on 28th September
Executive Committee of Consortium of National Law University have been postponed the CLAT 2020 (Common Law Admission Test). Earlier, CLAT 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on 7th September 2020 but as per the revised schedule, now the CLAT 2020 entrance exam will be conducted on 28th September 2020 The postponed decision has been taken by considering the lockdown situation in West Bengal & Bihar and also by considering the COVID-19 crisis all over the country.
CLAT is a national level entrance exam which will be organized by the Consortium of NLUs in order to grant admission into LLB, LLM and five-year integrated law programs. There are 21 National Law Universities which accepts CLAT Score and more than 50 Private Law institutes accept the CLAT score. The CLAT 2020 entrance exam will be conducted in online mode between (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM). This year more than 70,000 candidates have been registered in order to take entrance exam
Thus, the entrance exam being postponed and also there is chance that the availability of admit card may get delayed. According to the latest official notification declared by the consortium have mentioned only regarding postponement of examination and it has not mentioned the release date of CLAT 2020 admit card.
Generally, admit card will release 15 days prior to the examination date, it is considered that the admit card will be available by 2nd or 3rd week of September. After the issue of the admit card, successfully registered candidates required to log on to the official website and must sign up by using their login credentials which was generated during CLAT 2020 application process and through that candidates can access the CLAT admit card
