Choice filling for NEET PG 2021 counselling to begin from February 7, 2022
The Medical Counselling Committee has begun the Choice filling round for the counselling session of NEET PG 2021. The facility is available from February 7 to February 11 2022. While filling the choices, the candidates can select multiple colleges and their specialities that they want to pursue in postgrad medical courses like PG Diploma/MS/MD and DNB admissions according to their priority. The candidates must lock their choices before the deadline of February 11 2022. MCC will release the result of NEET PG 2021 Counselling for round two in PDF format on February 15 2022.
Below are measured on how to do the Choice filling for NEET PG counselling of 2021.
- Eligible candidates must visit MCC's website at mcc.nic.in.
- They must click on the NEET PG Counselling link 2021.
- Candidates must log in to the website using the credentials, username and password and fulfil the form.
- Candidates must fill in the choices of their preference of courses and colleges according to the NEET PG seat allotment
- If there are multiple choices, candidates must click on "+" and add their choices.
- They can drag and rearrange their preferences based on the candidates' priorities.
- Finally, after being satisfied with the choices, the candidate must click on save and lock their choices.
- Even if the candidate forgets to lock their choices, it will be automatically saved.
- The candidates must verify the NEET PG seat allotment choices as it will be done based on choices.
- The candidates must take a printout for future reference.
Things to do after NEET PG choice locking.
- After the choice filling is done, the MCC authority will conduct the NEET PG 2021 seat allotment process for round 2 on February 13 and 14.
- The seat allotment of NEET PG will be done based on NEET PG rank, courses and colleges choices, vacancy of seats, criteria of reservation and other factors.
- Based on all the given above factors, NEET PG 2021 counselling results will be released on the website of MCC after seat allotment processing.
- Based on NEET PG counselling results, 9K+ MD seats, 10.5K+ and other Diploma and DNB CET seats have been filled.
- Once the counselling rounds and seat allotments are done, the candidate must accept the result if it is satisfactory, if not they can apply for the next round of counselling.
If the candidate accepts the seat allotment, they must visit the college and submit the seat allotment letter for the further admissions process.
