IIM Lucknow successfully administered the CAT exam 2023 on November 26. In the first week of December, the CAT response sheet and the CAT 2023 answer key are anticipated to be made available. Using the CAT percentile prediction 2023 tool, candidates can determine their anticipated CAT percentile. Above 90 percentile are accepted into top MBA colleges like IIMs. Applicants who anticipate low scores in CAT 2023 results might apply to several MBA programs that accept applicants in the 50–70 percentile.
Some MBA colleges like AIMS, BITS Pilani, DBS Dehradun, IIEBM, and Pune accept CAT scores between 50-70 for their MBA programs. These colleges focus more on a student's overall profile than just their CAT score, providing good placements and reasonable fees. Below is a list of MBA colleges accepting CAT low scores.

How do you apply after deciding which B-School is best with a 70-80 percentile in the CAT Exam?
Upon selecting a top B-School to apply to, aside from IIMs, candidates must then get ready for admission. Some B-Schools provide admission with an entrance exam in addition to taking CAT results. On the other hand, some provide MBA admission without requiring an entrance exam.
Prepare for the Selection Process through the CAT
Suppose you believe that getting into a decent college would simply depend on passing the entrance exam. In that case, you might reconsider because many prestigious universities now consider several additional factors when determining admissions. Being aware of the specific B-School's admissions process in advance can assist you in developing an appropriate preparation plan.
Major top-tier B-schools have also chosen to replace the Group Discussion (GD) rounds with the Writing Ability Test (WAT) in the following years of the IIMs, but some of them still use the GD rounds. From now on, applicants need to stay current and knowledgeable about the B-School selection process.
Appear in Other Entrance Exams
If candidates are aiming for specific B-Schools in a given state, they have a few options in case they are not happy with their CAT results. Four or five times a year, exams such as the MAT and ATMA are administered, and many top colleges and universities accept scores.
If you can achieve 70 to 80 per cent on the CAT exam, you should be able to achieve about 90 per cent on the MAT/ ATMA with a better study plan. Examine the MAT and ATMA eligibility requirements before completing the application form. Candidates for higher B-Schools may also take other state-level exams such as the KPGCET, KMAT, MAH CET, TANCET, AP ICET, TS ICET, etc.
