NIST, Shortly known as the National Institute of Science and Technology in Berhampur of Odisha, has opened its registrations for its B-Tech admissions for 2022-2023. Interested students with appropriate eligibility can start filling out the application form of the institute to proceed with the admission process. To know more about the B-Tech admission process at NIST, the candidates must visit the institute's official website. Before applying for the B-Tech course, the applicants need to be aware of NIST's eligibility/ selection criteria. 

This institute has different admission procedures to evaluate the candidate for different programs available in NIST.

• The B-Tech eligibility criteria in NIST is the candidates must have completed their board exams of 10+2 in the science stream with a min of 45% aggregate (mathematics subject should be mandatory).  
• As the B-Tech selection criteria in NIST Berhampur, they accept candidates with valid cut-off scores from JEE Main or OJEE entrance exams.

B-Tech program in NIST, Berhampur 

• The B-Tech program at NIST is for four full years, an on-campus program.
• There are about seven specialization subjects offered in the B-Tech program Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.  
• The NIST, Berhampur B-Tech fees are INR 500,000 for all four years.
• NIST also allows admissions for second-year B-Tech courses as a lateral entry.
• Before applying for NIST admissions, the candidates are advised to apply for the JEE Main exam (national-level) or OJEE exam (state-level) in the online method.

The mode of application for the NIST B-Tech course is accepted online, i.e., by visiting the NIST, Berhampur official website.

• After opening the authentic website, the applicants must look for the application link or the ‘apply now tab.
• Next, the candidates must fill in the application form for the B-Tech course using the application number and login credentials secured while registering.
• The candidates need to mention the course details along with the specializations.
• After filling out the application form, the page will redirect the candidates to upload the necessary documents in scanned format for the verification process, i.e., photographs, signature, Mark sheet, ID proof, etc.
• There is no application fee in NIST to be paid by the candidates to submit the form online.
• Finally, it is recommended that the candidates keep a copy of the application for reference purposes till the completion of the admission process.

Note: The applicants must submit the form before the last due date (yet to notify). If the candidates submit the form offline, they must pay the fee of INR 500 in DD using the institute name.
