Bihar Constable, Home Guard Recruitment Exams Postponed

Bihar Constable and Home Guard recruitment exams which was scheduled on October 14 and 18 is been postponed by The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar. This is because of the upcoming election in Bihar and there is no availability of exam centres the notification is available on its website.

Notification from the board that the exam dates are will be announced later to the candidates for the selection of Constables and Home Guards. The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar is being held to fill up the 1722 vacancies for the constable post and 551 posts for Home Guards.

CSBC has asked candidates to keep the admit cards as it is necessary to carry the same admit card for candidates to appear for the new scheduled examination for the constable post. Just the exam is been postponed but there is no option to apply for the fresher’s or make any changes currently. Later when the exam is near the list of exam centres along with the candidate's roll number will be published on the official website.

• Selection of candidates to the post will be made based on their performance in the written test followed by physical efficiency test.
• Written test qualified candidates will only be called for the physical efficiency test.

Because of COVID-19 pandemic and the need to maintain social distance to avoid the spread of infection, CSBC has given the guidelines to candidates asking them to maintain social distancing at exam centres and mandatory to weak mask.

To familiarize candidates with the exam pattern, CSBC has released a sample copy of the answer sheet which is based on OMR. They have asked candidates to practice the filling of OMR sheets so on the exam day students will not miss out the filling up of relevant fields.
