NEET 2020 Entrance Exam postponement notice, which is circulating in social media is fake. Press Information Bureau (PIB) Clarified regarding the fake news by tweeting on 17th June 2020 and National Testing Agency have also clarified it by stating it is rumours. The fake news regarding the examination postponed which is circulated in the name of NTA, claimed that NEET UG 2020 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) has been postponed in the month of August. NTA Clarified that NEET-UG 2020 Exams will be conducted as per the given schedule that is on 26th July 2020

For all the registered candidates and for the parents, hereby to inform that no such decision has taken by National Testing Agency (NTA) and by concerned authority to postpone the examination of NEET UG 2020 and also PBI advised for the candidates to not consider for such fake news and requested to stay tuned to the official website of NTA (ntaneet.nic.in or nta.ac.in) for further information regarding NEET UG Examination

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted for the candidates who are seeking to get admission into undergraduate medical and allied programs all over India. NEET is the only national level entrance exam which is conducted for undergraduate medical admissions.

As per the notice, the NEET UG 2020 Examination for getting admission into MBBS, BDS, BVSc, AYUSH will be conducted as per revised schedule that is on 26th July 2020.More than 16 Lakhs students have been registered to appear for NEET UG 2020 Medical Entrance Test. Earlier, NEET Entrance Exam was scheduled to be conducted on 3rd May 2020 but due to the COVID-19 Lockdown Situation, Authority decided to postponed the examination but now examination will be conducting as per the given time schedule

But As per the latest update, many educationists & parents are demanding to cancel the NEET 2020 Entrance Examination and requesting the examination authorities not to prioritize exam over the student’s health and also some of the online campaign has started by using the hashtags and it is trending on social media
