Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a prestigious institution, is all set to release the application form for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE). According to the tentative schedule, the Amrita Entrance Exam application form is scheduled for release in October 2025. The entrance exam is planned to be held in two phases, one in January and the other in May 2026.

AEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to apply for AEEE 2026 must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Applicants should have completed the 12th-level examination from a recognized board or university.
• At least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam are required, with at least 55% marks in each of the three subjects.
• To be eligible for AEEE 2026, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects in their qualifying examination.
• Entrants should have been born on or after "1 July 2005" to meet the age eligibility criteria.
• Students who are currently waiting for their qualifying exam results are also eligible to apply for AEEE 2026.

 

AEEE 2026 Exam Pattern

Candidates planning to appear for AEEE 2026 should be familiar with the following exam pattern details:

• The AEEE 2026 examination will be conducted online as a computer-based test (CBT).
• Candidates will be provided 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the examination.
• The AEEE exam paper will consist of 100 questions.
• Applicants will be awarded +3 marks for each right answer. However, a penalty of -1 mark will be assessed for every incorrect answer.
• The entire paper will be worth 400 marks.
• The exam will comprise MCQs.
