The top reputed academic institutes are all set to collaborate to provide unique and advanced learning experience to the aspirants. The renowned Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram are collaborating in the sectors of academics and research.
The collaborations encompass the initiatives to admit 10% of B.Tech candidates at IIITDM Kancheepuram to seek direct admission in Ph.D and IIT Madras. Candidates are allowed to enroll after the completion of 6th semester. The candidates are benefitted to pursue 7th and 8th semester at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
Prof Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director of IIT Madras and Prof. Banshidhar Majhi, Director of IIITDM Kancheepuram singed the MoU of collaboration on 8th February 2019 at IIT Madras campus. The collaboration was considered to be beneficial in the long run for the deserving candidates to pursue their education.
