National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation [NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam]
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate has been conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). NBE conducts entry and exit examinations at Postgraduate, Post-Doctoral level and licensing examinations as Screening Test for Indian Nationals with Foreign Medical Qualifications. The National Board of Examination has been notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to conduct a competitive entrance examination on All-India Basis for admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Diploma Seats (except for colleges located in Jammu & Kashmir and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh).
The online registration for NEET-PG 2024 will start in the month of February 2024, and candidates need to submit the NEET PG 2024 application form online within the 3rd week of February 2024. The NEET PG 2024 Examination is scheduled to be conducted on 12 March 2024. Before applying for the entrance exam, candidates should be aware of the required NEET PG 2024 eligibility criteria to take up NEET PG Examination after a successful registration. NEET PG 2024 eligibility criteria for the candidates who are appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has mentioned below
- Candidates seeking to apply for NEET PG Examination to get admission for Post Graduate Courses should have completed MBBS Degree from any MCI (Medical Council of India recognized institute and must have completed 1 year of rotatory internship compulsory.
- Candidates should hold a provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI (Medical Council of India) or by the State Medical Council. The certificate should be carried on the examination day and during the admission time.
- Aspirants who have completed MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir will not be eligible for All India 50% Quota reserved seats. Only the candidates who are nominated by the Indian Government (under the central group seats) for studying MBBS degree from the Medical Colleges in Jammu and Kashmir only those candidates will be qualified for the All India 50% quota. Such aspirants should submit the duly signed affidavit document.

NEET PG 2024 application form will be available on the official website (nbe.edu.in), and it can be filled out online mode. The NEET PG Online Application process will start from February 2024. Step-4 Payment of the Application fees: After uploading the Photo, candidates need to pay the required application fees as per their category. NEET PG 2024 application fees for General and OBC Category costs approximate INR 3750, and candidates who belong to SC/ST/PWD (Person with a disability must pay the application fee INR 2750. NEET PG admit card 2024 will be released after the completion of online application process. The candidates who have registered successfully online within the due date can access the NEET PG admit Card through the official website of the National Board of Examination (NBE). To download the admit card, candidates need to log in using the user ID and password generated at the time of the registration process. NEET PG 2024 Result cum merit list will be declared by National Board of Examinations. Candidates can check their results from official website through online mode. The result cum merit list of NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam 2024 indicates the qualifying status of aspirants who have taken the NEET PG Examination. NEET PG 2024 Counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) & Directorate General of Health Services in March, and there will be three rounds in counselling sessions. NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam 2025 Results & Score Card
NEET PG 2024 Result cum merit list will be declared by National Board of Examinations in the month of January 2024 by last week. Candidates can check their results from official website through online mode. Result cum merit list of NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam 2024 indicates the qualifying status of aspirant who have taken NEET PG Examination and it mentions the details of Candidates mark obtained in entrance exam and also All India Rank of Candidate. Aspirants can view their results (score card) by entering their registration ID and Date of Birth. Candidates who have qualified in NEET PG Entrance Examination can take part in counselling session.
There will be no provision for re-checking/re-total/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. Validity of the result of NEET-PG 2024 shall be only for the current admission session i.e. 2024 admission session for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and cannot be carried forward for the next session.
Steps to check out NEET PG 2024 Result
- Candidates should log on to the official portal of NBE
- Then click on “NEET PG” Option
- Candidates need to click on the available link “NEET Result”
- Then enter the registration ID and Date of Birth
- Individual NEET PG Result Score card will display on the screen
- Then Candidates can view their results and can download it.
- Candidates are advised to take the print out of result score card and it is required during NEET PG Counselling session.
NEET PG 2024 Merit List
Four types of NEET PG merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in NEET entrance exam namely

- All India 50% Category Rank
- All India 50% Quota Rank

NEET PG 2024 Cut off
NEET PG 2024 cut off is the minimum score need to obtain by the candidates to get eligible for the admission of MD/MS/PG Diploma Course and the candidates who meet the cut off criteria are eligible to take part in NEET PG counselling session. NEET PG 2024 cutoff varies for different category. The Factors which determines cut off score such as Number of candidates appeared for entrance exam, difficulty level of entrance exam, number of seats available and previous year cut off trend.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam 2025 Counselling & Admission
NEET PG 2024 Counselling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) & Directorate General of Health Services in the month of March and there will be three rounds in counselling sessions. Candidates who gets qualify in NEET Entrance Examination will be called for counselling based on their rank (All India Rank, State Quota Rank, All India 50 % Category Rank and All India 50 % Quota Rank). Candidates must fill up their choice of program which they want to pursue and desired college as per the preference in counselling session. Admission of the eligible candidates will be done on the basis of the candidate’s rank obtained in NEET Entrance Exam 2024, filled preferences and based on the availability of seats.
- At first qualified candidates need to register themselves by visiting the respective portal of MCC (mmc.nic.in) to take part in NEET PG 2024 Counselling Session.
- Login by using the credentials to fill up the counselling form and then submit it
- Then Candidates need to pay the required registration fees through online mode (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card). NEET PG 2024 Counselling fees charges approximate INR 1,000 for General Category and for SC/ST/OBC Category it costs approximate INR 500
- Then Candidates need to choose the desired college and course from the mentioned list
- Then MCC will declare the NEET PG Counselling seat allotment list and it will be released on the official portal of MCC in the PDF Format. So candidates can check out the seat allotment order by logging into their registered account using their log in credentials
- Candidates who have got seat allotment through counselling must report to the respective institute for the document verification process

NEET PG 2024 Exam Centers
Candidates must choose the city while filling up the application form. The choice of city will be based on the availability of test center in specific city and the allocation of exam center for each registered candidate will be done on the according to the first cum first basis. Candidates after choosing the city, National board of examination(NBE) will allot the test center in the chosen city. Examination Center venue details will be provided in the NEET PG Admit Card. Candidates are advised to carry the important documents like NEET PG Admit Card, ID Proof and SMC or MCI Registration Certificate on the examination day at exam center.
