MERI 2025 Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus, Eligibility, Pattern

• Candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English.
• Candidates belonging to General & OBC categories must have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate and 55% for SC&ST in 12th Examination.
• Age limit: For the general category, age should be between 17-25 years and there is relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and OBC candidate.
• Marital Status: The candidate must be unmarried at the time of admission.

• Commencement of sale of application forms by IIT: November.
• Commencement of sale of application forms by IIMS & Syndicate Bank: February.
• Application Submission
• Last date of receipt of application by IIT: January.
• Last date of receipt of application by IIMS: March.
• Counselling of the selected candidates : Last week of July/ First week of August.

• Question paper comprises of two papers and each of them is for the duration of three hours each
• Papers are available in two languages-English and Hindi. Paper is based on the language chosen by the candidates while going through the registration for JEE Advanced test
• Question paper consisted of three subjects such as Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Questions will have various sections, multiple choice questions, reasoning, analytical, and test comprehension
• There is negative marking for in correct answer.

• The student waits for the result based on which they can get admission. The date of result is not decided yet by the conducting department. We will update the result as soon as the board releases it. Candidates are selected through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Advanced)) to be conducted by IITs every year.
• Meri is combined with aieee. So exam centre is disturbed across India. For list of exam centres visit site www.cbse.nic.in
