Law school Admission Test [LSAT]
LSAT, also known as Law School Admission Test, contributes to being a well-renowned entrance examination held worldwide. LSAC or Law School Admission Council manages this entrance examination. The examination is conducted for students who are willing to seek admission in different law courses offered by the universities of Canada, the United States, and other foreign countries. This entrance test is conducted four times every year, including June, February, December, and October / September. The examination is generally conducted on the last Saturday of September or the first Sunday of the month.
The examination is conducted in pen and paper mode. The examination is conducted across 16 different cities in India. Candidates who are willing to appear in this entrance examination should fill the application form. The registration form is available on the official website of LSAT. The question paper of LSAT 2025 comprises of objective type of questions. There is a time allotment of 2 hours and 20 minutes for completing the question paper. No negative marks will be deducted in case of wrong answers. Until the year of 2014, only 50 colleges used to accept LSAT scores. 10 more colleges joined the list in 2015, whereas the number of colleges was increased to 74 in 2016. In the year 2017, more than 75 colleges offered admission to candidates in post-graduate and undergraduate law courses following LSAT scores. The LSAT Entrance examination will be conducted tentatively on 21st May in 16 different cities.
It is a prerequisite that the students fill the eligibility criteria for appearing in the LSAT entrance examination. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria to avoid confusion later on as failing to meet the eligibility criteria may lead to disqualification of the candidate at a later off stage.

LSAT 2025 Eligibility criteria
The candidates need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the LSAT entrance exam in 2025. The following are the basic eligibility criteria mentioned for the candidates to sit for the exam:
For the five-year Integrated LLBA Program, candidates should pass class 10+2 from any recognized board of education. The candidates appearing for the 12th grade exam are also eligible. The candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination to be eligible.
Three-year LLB Program: Candidates having a bachelor’s degree from any UGC-recognized institute should have secured the required 45% aggregate score to be eligible for the three-year LLB program. In the final year of appearing, candidates can also apply.
Master of Laws (LLM): Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree LLB from any recognized university with the required aggregate score to be eligible.
LSAT 2025 Application Form & fees
The LSAT 2025 application form is available on the official website. It can be filled up out online. Candidates must log on to their respective websites and fill out the application form by entering all the basic information like educational details, personal details, and other relevant details mentioned in the form. After filling up the application form completely, the candidates will receive the LSAT 2025 registration number through the registered mail ID. The application process contains three steps, mainly the Registration process, Filling up the application form, and Application fees payment.

Step 1: Registration: At first, Candidates need to visit the official website, then a new tab will be created for the registration process. Then candidates need to register themselves by entering the required details. Then registration ID and Password will be generated, and a verification link will be sent for the candidate's registered email ID by Pearson VUE. Candidates need to click on the verification link and log in by using credentials to fill out an application form
Step 2: Filling the application form: After the successful registration process, candidates need to fill out the required details properly, such as Personal Information, Contact Information, Preference of program and must choose the preferred college, educational details, and other relevant information which is mentioned in the application form
Step-3 Fees Payment: LSAT 2025 application fees cost INR 3,800, and they can be paid online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking). After paying the required application fees, candidates need to cross-check the details once before submitting the application form.

The law school admission test (LSAT) will be conducted by the law school admission council in offline mode (pen-paper based). The Examination will be conducted in the last week of April 2025. Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates must know about the exam pattern properly for better preparation. It contains Examination mode, Sections, Type of Questions, Exam Duration, Marking scheme, Etc.
LSAT's question paper will comprise a total of 4 sections, namely Analytical Reasoning, 1st Logical Reasoning, 2nd Logical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. There will be approximately 92–100 objective-type questions in the paper. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be provided, and there will be no negative marking. There will be a time allotment of 35 minutes for every section. Thus, the candidate must finish the entrance paper within a time period of 2 hours and 20 minutes.

LSAT 2025 Admit Card
LSAC (Law School Admission Council) will provide the admit card for the LSAT 2025 (Law School Admission Test) only for the candidates who have registered successfully online. The LSAT 2025 admit card will be available online, and registered candidates can download it through the official website. To access the admit card, candidates need to log in by using their registered Mail ID and Password. The admit card is an important identity, and it contains information like the candidate’s name, registration number/roll number, Exam centre venue, Date & Time, etc.
The registration number will be unique for every student. Candidates need to carry the admit card without fail on the exam centre's examination day. If candidates fail to bring an admit card, they will not appear for the entrance exam. Along with an admit card, candidates should bring any of the ID proof (Aadhar CardVoter ID/Pan card)

- The page will redirect to the “Login-Window.”
- Candidates must log in by using their registered mail ID & Password.
- Then the LSAT Admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates can download the admit and must take the printout of it.
LSAT 2025 Results & Score Card
The LSAT 2025 result will be announced tentatively in May. Candidates can view the results from the official LSAT website. The LSAT India 2025 results mention the qualifying status of the candidates who appeared for the law school admission test. Candidates can view their results by entering their login credentials. The authority issues no rank lists. Instead, the results are passed to LSAT marks, following the country's law institutes. Candidates scoring high marks will gain more preference from those scoring low marks. Participating colleges will be shortlisting the candidates and invite them later on to attend the counseling session. The name of the shortlisted students will be announced in the counseling procedure.

- After a successful Login, the result will display on the screen.
- The result would contain details such as the percentage of the candidate and qualifying status.

LSAT 2025 Counselling & Admission
Aspirants who have cleared Law school admission test (LSAT) are eligible to appear for the LSAT 2025 Counselling process. The LSAT Counseling will be conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAT) after the result's declaration, and several participating law schools will decide the seat allotment. They receive the LSAT Score and shortlist candidates based on their rank obtained in the LSAT Examination. Moreover, each participating institute has different eligibility criteria, and also LSAT counseling fees vary for each college.
As per the time & date schedule, candidates need to appear for the LSAT Counseling session, and candidates are requested to carry all the original educational certificates, passport-size photos. LSAT Scorecard is mandatory to bring at the time of counseling for the document verification process. After the counseling sessions, seats will be allocated for the qualified candidates based on their rank, cut off eligibility as per their program preference.
LSAT 2025 Cut-Off
Pearson VUE releases the LSAT 2025 cut-off after the declaration of law school admission test results. The cut-off score varies for each program, and it will be declared through online mode. Candidates can check the cut-off list by visiting the respective portal. LSAT cut-off list will be decided based on several factors, including the number of candidates who appeared for the examination, the difficulty level of examination, and seat availability in participating colleges. Candidates qualified in LSAT and who meet the cut-off eligibility will be called for the LSAT 2025 counseling session.
