The Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) is soon going to release the eligibility criteria for KPGCET 2025 in its official notification. These criteria include different rules that students must follow to participate in the Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam successfully.

KPGCET Eligibility Requirements
The Karnataka Exam Authority has clearly stated the eligibility standards for different courses for students who want to apply for the exam. The eligibility is divided based on where a student lives, what academic qualifications they have, and other factors. Here is the list:
- A student who has passed the qualifying exam or an equivalent exam as prescribed by the Competent Authority is eligible.
- Additionally, a student needs a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects of all years/semesters of the Degree Exam for admission.
- For SC/ST and Category-I students, a minimum aggregate of 45% is required.
- Additionally, the student must have worked for at least 3 years after obtaining the degree as of July 31, 2025, in a recognized establishment.
- The student's organization should be within 40 km of the institution where they seek admission. The employer must fill out the NOC duly signed by the Qualified Authority.
Karnataka PGCET 2025 Eligibility for M Tech
- A student who has passed the qualifying test or an equivalent exam as authorized by the Competent Authority is eligible.
- Students with a valid GATE score receive first preference for admission to the course.
- To be admitted, a student must additionally receive at least a 50% cumulative grade in each topic throughout all years and semesters of the degree exam. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in B Tech.
- A minimum aggregate of 45% is necessary for SC/ST and Category I students.
Karnataka PGCET MCA Course Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent exam.
- At the undergraduate level, it is mandatory to have studied one of the following subjects: Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Business Maths, or Business Statistics.
- A student needs a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. It is 45% for SC/ST and Category-I of Karnataka students in all the years of the Degree Exam.
- A student who studied and passed one of the specified subjects in the Pre-University Course with 50% marks in that subject will also be considered for admission.
Karnataka PGCET Full-Time MBA Course Eligibility Criteria
- Students must pass a recognized Bachelor's Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or an equivalent exam.
- To be eligible for MBA courses, a student needs a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects, including languages, in all the years of the Degree Exam.
- For SC/ST and Category-I of Karnataka, at least a 45% mark in the exam is required.
