A mock seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET counseling will be conducted to help students understand the seat allocation process and get an idea of their seat allotment. - Document Verification
- In the next stage of the counseling process, students who have qualified for the entrance exam need to bring their original documents and photocopies to the helpline centers for verification.
- The document verification will be conducted according to the schedule. Before visiting the helpline centre, students should check the rank ranges, date, and time of verification.
- Students will receive a document verification acknowledgment card and verification slip, which they must keep throughout the entire admission process.
- Once the verification is completed, the original documents will be returned to the student, and KEA will retain one set of attested photocopies.
- The student's eligibility will be verified simultaneously on the same day as the document verification.
- Verification Schedule
- During the counseling process, all disciplines will undergo document verification. However, only eligible students must present their original documents along with a set of Gazetted Officer-attested photocopies and two passport-size photographs.
- Students who become eligible after verification will be considered for the entry of options, the next step in the counseling process.
- KEA will publish details of eligible students on the website daily after verification. Students should note that, following document verification, they will receive a high-security secret key.
- This key must be used to register, create a password & log in ID to the online option entry portal. Students are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of the password and secret key, as KEA will not take any responsibility in this regard.
- Entry of Options
- Students will have the opportunity to select their preferred colleges and courses during counseling.
- This entire process takes place online, where students need to input their application number and the unique key found on the verification slip.
- They must choose their desired course stream, college, and course.

- Students can enter as many options as they wish, without any limitations, to ensure a better chance of securing a seat.
- Once options are recorded in the server by the last day and time of the specified schedule for each round, they will be frozen, and only these frozen options will be considered for seat allotment.
- After entering options, students must print out their choices for each round before the last date and time for option entry are over.
- Mock Allotment
- After submitting their options, a mock allotment will be conducted based on actual data, and the results will be available on the KEA website for students to review.
- The mock seat allotment aims to familiarize students with the seat allocation procedure. Students will have a two-day window to verify their allotment status and make changes or modifications to their choices based on the mock allotment results.
- If a student decides to change or modify their options, they can do so within the specified date and time.
- The real seat allotment process will then be carried out based on the modified entry of options.
- Seat Allotment
- In the final step of the counseling process, the authorities will assign seats based on the student's merit and their selected choices.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2025 seat allotment will adhere to the government's reservation policy. After receiving a seat allotment, students need to visit the college to confirm their seats.
