Post Graduate Common Entrance Test [Karnataka PGCET]
Every year, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the Karnataka PGCET. It is also known as the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test. The KPGCET Entrance Exam serves as the gateway exam for admission to PG degrees such as MBA, MCA, ME, and M.Tech. The Karnataka PGCET is an offline exam. Karnataka PGCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: General Criteria
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- For a reservation, candidates from their home state must be residents of Karnataka.
- Students from other states may apply for the Karnataka PGCET. However, they are not eligible for any reservations.
Karnataka PGCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: MBA
Full-time
- Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree of at least three years.
- Students must score at least 50% in all disciplines, including languages.
- For SC, ST, and Category-I applicants in Karnataka, 45% of marks are necessary.
Part-time
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of three years.
- Students must get a minimum of 50% in all disciplines, including languages.
- For SC, ST, and Category-I applicants in Karnataka, 45% are necessary.
- Students must have worked for at least 3 years after completing their degree.
Karnataka PGCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: M. Tech
Full-time
- B. Tech/M. Sc. from a recognized board or university.
- Students must get a minimum of 50% in all semesters.
- Students who wish to apply using national level scores must have a valid GATE scorecard.
- Qualifying marks of 45% are necessary for ST or SC, or OBC. The reservation only applies to Karnataka residents.
Part-time
- B. Tech. or M. Sc. from a recognized college or institution.
- Students from the state of Karnataka must get a minimum of 50% in all semesters.
- For ST, SC, or OBC, 45% of qualifying marks are necessary. Only Karnataka state students are eligible for reservations.
- After completing the degree, students must have three years of work experience.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form: How to Fill Out
The KPGCET online application form is available at kea.kar.nic.in. The registration window will be open for around a month. The entire process is divided into two stages.
