As per the latest Update, Uttar Pradesh’s Engineering Colleges use JEE Main rank for offering B Tech admission. Earlier, UP candidates were supposed to attempt UPSEE, but now it has been scrapped. Q1. How many institutes are expected to participate in JEE Main 2025?
Candidates will apply for admission to 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 GFTIs based on their JEE Main marks. Various state and private colleges also accept JEE Main scores for offering admission.

Many states accept JEE Main results as a criterion for admission. Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are just a few states that award students based on their JEE Main performance. The following states don’t conduct any state-level entrance tests. Henceforth, admission seekers have to apply through JEE Main score.
