Institute of Banking Personnel Selection [IBPS RRB]
IBPS RRB is a national-level banking exam. It is conducted every year by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) for candidates who want to work in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). They hire for different jobs like Office Assistant, Marketing Manager, Officers Scale I, and more. For Officer roles, they use prelims, mains, and interviews to select candidates. Office Assistant jobs use prelims and mains exams. Those who get shortlisted go to one of the RRBs based on vacancies and merit.
There is also the National Recruitment Agency (NRA), made by the Union Cabinet. They will hold a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for jobs in SSC, RRB, and IBPS, mainly for Non-Technical and Non-Gazetted Group B and C roles. The NRA CET is the first test, and different bodies do other selection steps.
The IBPS RRB 2024 notification will be available online on the official website. It will disclose key details such as application dates and exam dates for various recruitment drives. People aged between 18 and 40 with a degree can apply. But, the eligibility can change based on the job type, so check that first. The IBPS RRB 2024 exam for Officer and Office Assistant roles happens online.
