SVCE provides BE/BTech. AICTE and NBA approve the courses. Moreover, it is affiliated with VTU Belgaum. Selection is based on a KCET or COMED-K score or rank. Sri Venkateswara college fees BTech is INR 2.65 Lakhs. There is separate housing for males and girls. SVCE hostel fee structure is INR 44,515.00. Aspirants receive a 5% concession on the tuition fee. The full-semester fees scholarships are based on merit, worthy academic performance, economic means, and performance in NCC and extracurricular activities such as sports, among other things.

SVCE is located in the outskirts of Bengaluru city, aiding a peaceful environment for assimilating knowledge. Students are generally taken in through the KCET/COMEDK exams or through management, following their enrollment intake their fee structure is decided. The exams are conducted as per the CBSE scheme with two internals and one exam. The syllabus is structured as per the VTU norms and hence is of the highest grade. Scholarships are given depending upon performance in every semester (>90%) by the management and to reserved category students. The college has newly built, well-maintained hostels making it comfortable for the students to reside. Also, a well maintained, peaceful, plush green environment aids in providing a better learning environment. Owing to its history in winning accolades in sports, the college has a well-maintained sports club to encourage its students. Although, the college does not offer any in-house internships it ensures that its students take interest in interning while pursuing their engineering degree with good placement options. The college also has an alumni-student interaction programme that happens once every year to provide the current students with necessary knowledge for their growth.
