Class of 2021
SVIT has a beautiful campus with a cafeteria, a huge ground for all sports or just to chill, a basketball court, appreciable amount of greenery is maintained, library is well-equipped with updated books, hostel facilities are fair enough too. I enrolled into SVIT through COMEDK for B.E. Civil Engineering. On a general note, students can gain entrance to SVIT through either COMEDK or KCET for UG engineering programme and through KPGCET for PG engineering programme. The fee structure for B.E candidates is roughly Rs. 540000 and Rs. 140000 for M.E/ M.Tech candidates. The college provides fee waiver to those belonging to the SC/ST or economically backward classes. Since, the institute abides by the VTU syllabus, exams run as per VTU schedule. As a result, academics are strictly considered. Failing to clear any exams will result in a year back. The institute ensures 100% placements every year, with companies like Accenture, IBM, Indian Air Force, etc. The annual packages provided by the company have an average of Rs. 350000.
