The hostel fee at NIFFT Ranchi is Rs. 7000 per semester for both female and male students. The type of admission, an additional Rs. 200 for hostel admission and a refundable hostel deposit of 2000 are also payable.

Aspirants who are seeking to get admission for 1-year advanced diploma course, must have secured minimum 50% aggregate score in the qualified examination (Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical streams) or candidates must have possessed B.Sc. degree. National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology (NIFFT) admissions will be granted on the basis of written test conducted by institute.

The yearly fee of the B.Tech course will be INR 47,450 and this is the course fee to be paid in the 1st year. From the next year the National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology Fees Structure would be INR 41,600 PA.
