Yes, to get B-Tech admissions at NIE, the applicants must have appeared for the JEE Main exam at the national level or KCET or COMED K at the state level.

Candidates must have passed the second year Pre University or 10+2 or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The selection criteria are done based on CET/COMEDK score.
