Candidate must have done 10+2 from J&K Board of School Education with PCM subjects as mandatory. Admissions will be based on JEE Main entrance exam scores and counseling.

For B-Tech admissions in Kashmir University, applicants can apply offline and for which candidates can download the application form from the University's official website. If not, the hard copies of the form must be duly filled and sent to the Development Council office along with fees receipt with required documents.

For the online application process, go to the official website of the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, click on the online application tab, duly fill the application form, upload the docs and fees receipt and click on submit.

Candidates need to have passed class 10+2 level mandatorily from science stream. He/She must have appeared for JEE Main to be eligible to apply for B.Tech. Based on JEE Main score followed by counselling admissions to B.Tech at Kashmir University will be given.

One must have secured minimum of 45% aggregate marks overall in 10+2 particularly in science discipline having Physic, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject from a recognized board of examination. Kashmir University admission to B.Tech course will be made strictly entrance exam based.

Kashmir University being the state university, one seeking for B.Tech admission must have finished 10+2 with minimum marks from a recognized board and mandatorily should have qualified JEE Main with valid scores. Kashmir University admissions are purely made through the counseling process held based on the JEE Main scores. Direct admission will not be offered by this university for B.Tech.
