Class of 2021
JNCASR offers very good and unique fields of specialization in the field of Engineering like metallurgical, polymer and aeronautical engineering. I happened to pursue polymer engineering in 2014 as the institute ensures that each one of its students get an internship along with a stipend, alongside top in-house faculty, which is a good boost to the profile and knowledge. It is a wonderful learning experience for those who want to learn and dive into research. Also, opportunities are provided for a PH.D abroad as well. For those who prefer to work post their BE/ B.Tech / M.Tech generally get placed as faculty in the IITs, IISERs, IISC and NITs and industries like Boeing, Airbus, GE, etc., with an average package of Rs.100000 per annum. The campus is splendid with lots of greenery and easy access to the malls and play parks, etc. The age-old architecture of the buildings feels like living in a different era. The environment and scope obtained is worth the effort one puts into getting through JNCASR, as it is quite tough to obtain a seat.
