The minimum qualifying mark required is 45% in PCB/PCM from a recognized board to qualify for BE admission. However, it is a mandatory criterion to attempt KCET. In case students fail to satisfy the Cut off norms. They can opt for the Canara Engineering College Management Quota, which reserves 30% of seats.

Hi Darshan Malya,
Admission procedure:-

  • candidate who has passed PUC or 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with English as one of the langauges of study and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects is eligible for B.E course.
  • Selection criterion is based on the rank scored in JEE Main/ KCET 2018.
  • Fee structure for the complete course in CEG is around INR 7 lakh.
  • Some of the recruiters who visited the campus are Vmware, Infosys, Juspay, Capgemini,
  • Slk software, Accord software, Mindtree among many more.

Hi Rathan,

Canara Engineering College admission for B.Tech:

  • Candidates should obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 (PCM).
  • A valid score is a must for a candidate to obtain in JEE Mains/KCET/KRLMPCA UGET entrance examination.
  • Candidates meeting all the above mentioned eligibility criteria shall be qualified for the admission. 
  • Candidates willing to take admission can apply online/offline with the required details.
