Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) is a private university established in 2004. The selection of applicants is made based on the JEE (Main) ranks. Therefore, the official authority will not conduct any separate examination. Seat reservations are available for Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals.
Their admissions are conducted through a separate channel called the Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI Students (DAFS).

The Eligibility Criteria of B. Tech are given below:
- Candidates must have passed 10 +2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology as an optional subject from a recognized board.
- The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for provisional admission.
- Only candidates born on or after October 1, 1995, are eligible to apply.
The application form will be available on the official portal from April to June. Candidates must make sure that they have the following documents and details before filling the online B.Tech Application Form:
- Scanned image of latest passport size photograph (Size of the image should not be more than 50 kb).
- All the contact details like address, contact no (mobile), valid email id.
- JEE Main Roll No.
- Application fee:
- The application form fee will be Rs.1200, which can be paid through Credit / Debit Card / Net Banking / Paytm Wallet details
There is no separate examination for DAIICT. The JEE (Main) scores and the 12th-grade scores will be considered for admission. Therefore the exam pattern of the same is given below:
- The exam will be organized in a computer based format.
- Each question consists of 4 marks.
- 25 marks will be subtracted as the punishment for an incorrect response.
- 180 minutes or 3 hours will be allowed to solve the exam.
- The exam will be in English only.
- Paper 1 comprises 90 questions hence the total marks for the exam is 360
The Counselling for B. Tech Admissions will be done in two ways:
- 50% of the seats will be filled through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat
- The rest of the 50% seats will be filled through DAIICT.
Documents required for Verification:
Candidates must bring the following documents in original and with one set of photocopies of all the documents for B.Tech Counselling:-
- Class 10th pass certificate and marks sheet
- Class 12th pass Certificate and Marks sheet (if available)
- JEE Main Score Card
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- School Leaving Certificate from the institute/school last attended
