Central Universities Common Entrance Test [CUET]
The Central University Entrance Test, or CUET, has replaced the CUET 2025 exam. According to the latest notice from UGC, the NTA will issue the CUET 2025 application form for undergraduate admissions. The application deadline is March 13th, 2025. The CUET exam is in the last week of May. The CUET 2025 question paper will feature a mandatory language exam, two domain-specific tests, and a general exam. 42 Central Universities will accept CUET 2025 scores.
Last year, around 97,416 applicants took the exam. It was offered at 308 locations throughout the country in 161 cities. Admission to undergraduate programs at Central Universities is based on CUET scores in 2025. There is no weight given to class 12th marks. International students cannot take CUET 2025. Universities are currently allowing CUET 2025 scores for post-graduate programs.

CUET 2025 Eligibility criteria
Students who meet the CUET 2025 eligibility criteria can apply for UG and PG programs. They can apply to 13 Central Universities. The University of Delhi (DU) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) accept CUET 2025 scores.
- Students must pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. This is a must to be eligible for any UG programs offered.
- Students for PG programs must have a bachelor's degree in the subject they wish to enrol in. In addition, CUET 2025 is solely open to Indian citizens.
- Students for D/M.Phil. Courses should also hold a master's degree with a specialization in any field. Both UG and PG programs have distinct eligibility requirements.
- The CUET 2025 qualifying criteria vary according to the programs and universities offered.
CUET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Course-wise
Various universities have CUET eligibility criteria for 2025. Students should double-check their CUET eligibility. The students must meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below.
Postgraduate Courses
- Students in the General category must achieve a minimum of 55%. While students in the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category must get 50%. There is a distinct cut off for OBC candidate students in specific regions. As a result, please refer to the course information.
- An applicant must have completed a bachelor's degree in the same or a related discipline.
For Undergraduate Courses
- A minimum of 50% aggregate score in class 12 is required for general category students. For SC/ST students, the requirement is 45%.
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology are necessary subjects.
CUET 2025 Application Form & fees
- For both UG and PG programs, the CUET Application Form 2025 will be available in February 2025.
- The deadline for applying and paying the CUET 2025 application fee is March.
- Before applying, students should check their eligibility for CUET 2025. Students must first register on the official website of CUET 2025. This is to fill out the CUET application form for 2025.

1. CUET Registration
The primary step is to register for the CUET 2025 exam by going to the exam's official website. After that, they had to go to the 'New Registration' link.

They must complete a CUET registration form with their personal information, contact information, and address and select a password and security question. The CUET registration procedure will be complete after they enter the password. The students will receive a login and password to their registered email and mobile phone.
2. Filling out the CUET Form

4. Select Courses
- Students must first choose three universities to which they hope to be admitted. Then, they must choose three courses from each university to which they desire to apply.
- Candidates can then click the "Save & Proceed" option once they've selected it.

CUET 2025 Application Form: Discrepancy

- The NTA has issued the CUET exam pattern 2025 and the notice and information booklet. The CUET exam will be conducted in a CBT over four days during the first week of July.
- The exam will have three sections. Each of these will include objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
