Karnataka Engineering Colleges Entrance Test [COMEDK UGET]
COMEDK UGET is a state-level entrance test managed by COMEDK or the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental of Karnataka. The exam is conducted to confer admission into different UG engineering, dental and medical courses. From 2025, the entrance test will be conducted to provide admission into Architecture and engineering courses. Viz. B.Arch and B.Tech.
Almost 120 participating institutes in the entrance examination confer 29 undergraduate UG courses. If you are willing to apply for the COMEDK entrance test, you should fill out the COMEDK Online Application Form. It is a prerequisite that candidates fulfill the COMEDK Eligibility Criteria for appearing in the entrance test. Since it is not a must for the candidates to be a resident of Karnataka, students worldwide are eligible for the exam.
After applying successfully for the COMEDK UGET 2025 entrance test, candidates can download the admit card after the concerned authority releases them. The entrance test is conducted in almost 151 cities across India. There are 60 multiple-choice questions for each section of the question paper.
The COMEDK results will be announced on the web. The counseling for the entrance test will be single-window counseling, which will accomplish in two rounds. Candidates need to attend the COMEDK counseling in person. It is a must for every candidate to register to take part in the seat allotment procedure.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Eligibility criteria
Candidates willing to appear for COMEDK must check the COMEDK eligibility criteria before filling out the COMEDK 2025 Application Form. Candidates from other than Karnataka State are eligible to appear for COMEDK. It is not mandatory to be a Karnataka resident to appear in the COMEDK entrance exam. Candidates seeking Engineering courses should pass the higher secondary examination from a recognized board. Students should have scored a minimum aggregate score of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. To seek admission in the architecture course, a candidate should have completed the 10+3 diploma course with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in PCM. Diploma candidates are not eligible to seek admission as there is no provision for lateral entry.
- Age: COMEDK UGET 2025 has no restrictions on the age factor. Candidates with any age criteria can appear for the examination.
- Qualification: Candidates who should have completed or appeared for the 12th can apply for COMEDK. Candidates with 10+3 can also appear for the exam.
- Subjects: Candidates should attain a minimum of 50% aggregate in 12th in the mandatory subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, English, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology.
- Required Score: Candidates in the general category should attain 50% in the 12th, and candidates in the reserved category should attain 45%.
For Architecture Courses:
- Aspirants should have passed the 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
- The candidates who have passed their qualifying examination in the pattern of 10+3 (diploma holders) with at least 50% aggregate marks (40% in respect to SC/ST/OBC) are also eligible to apply for architecture courses.
- There will be no entrance test for admission to architecture courses. The admission is made based on the candidate’s score in NATA. Minimum marks of 80 out of 200 will be required to be eligible for admission.
- Those seeking admission in B. Arch must submit a separate application form.
- But applicants must undergo COMEDK Counselling to secure a B Arch admission seat. Based on the NATA score, they can register.
COMEDK UGET 2025 Application Form & fees
The consortium will issue the COMEDK UGET application forms, and all eligible candidates can apply for the exam online. Candidates must register for COMEDK online before filling up the application form. The consortium will likely release COMEDK 2025 application forms by the fourth week of March 2025. Candidates need to provide their email ID and mobile number during registration. Candidates desirous of appearing at this screening test can get the application form on the website of COMEDK. The last date to apply for COMEDK 2025 is the third week of May 2025. After the successful registration, students will receive the User ID and a password to the registered email address. Students will be required to upload their photographs and signatures in a prescribed format.

Step 1: Registration: Candidates should register for COMEK 205 from the official website by providing details like name, date of birth, email Id, etc.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The COMEDK UGET syllabus resembles the standard of the higher secondary examination syllabus observed by any recognized boards in India. It covers various topics related to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The COMEDK examination will only be asked in English and contains objective-type questions.
- The entrance test's COMEDK syllabus is based on the 12th/2nd PUC.
- The students are given one mark for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The exam's duration will be 3 hours, of which 2 hours is for Physics & chemistry paper and one hour is for Mathematics paper.
Candidates appearing for the examination will be evaluated based on a question paper of 180 marks, including 60-mark questions each for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates will get 30 hours to complete the test. The initial 2 hours slot is reserved for answering the Physics and Chemistry paper, while the last hour slot is for answering the questions on mathematics. For the medium of examination, students will only have English. It will be relevant to state no provision of negative marking for providing wrong answers.
COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Pattern:
COMEDK UGET will be a computer-based test with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The test will be for 3 hours for 180 marks. Each subject will be 60 marks, and the questions will be in English.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Admit Card
COMEDK UGET Admit Card will be released by the second week of June 2025. COMEDK UGET 2025 Counselling & Admission
Candidates must attend COMEDK UGET counseling 2025 for admission to the desired branch and college. The quantum of tuition fees, the number of available seats, and COMEDK counseling dates 2025 will be announced after the declaration of COMEDK results 2025. On the COMEDK counseling date, candidates should be present in person along with the required counseling documents. The college's available seat choice is based on the merit list. Students who fail to report at the venue at the specified time on the counseling date will be counted as latecomers, along with the prerequisite documents. These latecomers are not eligible for counseling during the session.
Candidates eligible for adding COMEDK Counseling
- Students who have registered before and successfully attended the COMEDK entrance exam are eligible to attend COMEDK Counseling.
- Candidates with the minimum eligibility of 45% marks in 12th (for SC, ST, and OBS candidates) and a minimum 50% aggregate (for general category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
- Candidates appearing for supplementary exams are also eligible to attend round 2 counseling.
COMEDK Counseling Process:
