Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) was started in 1949 accredited from AICTE and is one of the most prestigious colleges in Jharkhand. It was ranked 13 according to NIRF ranking 2017 and 2018 among all the management institutes and holds the 3rd rank in India Today in 2017.

Xavier Labour Relations Institute is spread over 7 acres area. The institute was established in the year 1949 and is one of the oldest institutes situated in the city of Jamshedpur. The campus is widespread and well-developed with a plush green campus and modern infrastructure. The institute has all basic facilities including, amphitheater, seminar halls, and transportation facilities, spacious and well-aerated classrooms. It’s a private institute and hence its syllabus is as per AICTE colleges but its exam schedule or curriculum planning solely depends on the exam section of the institute due to its autonomous nature. The college also provides hostel facilities with well furnished rooms and hygienic food in the mess with a constantly changing menu.
