Women’s Technical Education and Research Institute is the only institute offering technical education for women in Vidarbha. Women’s Technical Education and Research Institute is approved and recognized by DTE and AICTE. Women’s Technical Education and Research Institute was established with the noble cause of women’s education and making them stand equally and be part of the social and economic responsibilities.
- Women’s Technical Education and Research Institute has found its ground in the streams of some technical education that is job oriented and offers courses like advanced diploma in dietetics and travel & tourism, diploma in Beauty culture and hairdressing, interior design, and decoration, stenography & Pvt. Sec. Practises. Short courses which are based on technical skill development were provided through polytechnic.
- Women’s Technical Education and Research Institute admissions will be accepted as the seats sanctioned by DTE. There are 70 seats approved for a diploma course of 2 years, and candidates with SSLC can apply for this course. The seats sanctioned for advanced diploma courses are 40 seats. The advanced diploma courses are for one year and are under post-graduation programs.
