Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and Technology was set up in Hyderabad, with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, and the Government of Telangana State. The Institution is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
At M.P Patelguda(V), Ibrahimpatnam (M), Ranga Reddy Dist at the outer Ring Road/Bangalore gate in the vicinity of capital city Hyderabad on the Nagarjuna Sagar highway, Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and Technology is located. It is just 15KMs from Dilsuknagar and I.S Sadan.
Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and technology was sponsored by Jawahar Educational Society, Ranga Reddy Dist. The promoters of this college are drawn from different occupations and professions with intense zeal for promoting Engineering Education in rural areas.
The promoters of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and technology have to their credit another Engineering college under the name & style " Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science at Chowdarpally (V), Devarakadra(Mdl), Mahabubnagar Dist. which was started in 1998.
Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and technology promoters have a vast knowledge of promoting and administering engineering institutions.
The promoters who owned 13 Acres and ten guntas of land in M.P Patelguda gifted 10 Acres of 02 guntas to the sponsoring society to establish Visvesvaraya College Engineering and Technology.
- The Institute provides the hustle and bustle free and pollution free environment promising to affect learning. The campus has a well-built compound wall to regulate the entry at the main gate.
- Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and technology has two-story permanent buildings with a total plinth area of about 19000sq.m with spacious Lecture Halls and laboratories. All the Labs are fully equipped with the latest equipment and machinery as prescribed in the JNTUH syllabus.
- The facilities offered in the institution are the embodiment of intellectual maturity of a high standard. The Lecture Halls are provided with LCDs and overhead projectors.
- Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and technology has a well-experienced and fully-qualified faculty under the leadership of a young and dynamic Principal, Dr. Bhaludra Raveendranadh Singh. Dr.Vuppu Padmakar, Academic Director of the institution, has been guiding the Institution's academic programs with his rich experience as a teacher and administrator in Technical education.

Our college is having very nice environment and very convenient for everything. This is specialized in offering engineering courses. The campus is having 13 acres with well-built infrastructure. It has the approval of the AICTE and affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. The infrastructure consists of 2 storey buildings built in the area 19000 Sq.m with spacious labs, classrooms and lecture halls. All the class rooms and laboratories are equipped well. The fees in this institute are I feel feasible and affordable. Visvesvaraya College Of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad faculty are very experienced and trained in their subjects. They are all trained in the technical education and all are mostly Ph.d holders.
