Vikas College of Arts, Science & Commerce was formed in 1986 by Vidya Vikas Education Society to impart quality of higher education for the aspiring students. They mainly belong to Economically weaker society and for the underprivileged categories. The College is situated in Vikhroli (East), Mumbai City, and it is affiliated with Mumbai University, accredited by NAAC.VCASC offers UG and PG courses in specific domains, namely Arts, Commerce, Science, and Management streams. The main objective of Vikas College is to provide educational programs which blend creativity, career-oriented training, and analytical skills.
- VCASC, Mumbai, offers a bachelor’s degree BA, B. Com in General and Account & Finance, BMS, and B.Sc. in three disciplines, namely Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology. Vikas college offers PG Courses in M. Com, MA, and M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Organic Chemistry, and Information Technology.
- Vikas college admissions will be granted according to the guidelines of Mumbai University. To get eligible for UG Courses, candidates shall have passed in 10+2 examination in the concerned stream. To get admission for PG Courses, candidates must have done bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Vikas College Scholarships are granted for deserving students. Some of the scholarship & free-ship facilities offered at VCASC are Economically Backward Class Free-ships, State Government Open-Merit Scholarship, and National Merit Scholarship.
- Vikas College ensures the best placement assistance for its students by arranging campus interviews and also arranges some of the placement training activities. So far, students of VCASC have been placed in good companies like Empire Industries, Godrej, Vee Gee Electronic, Sunrise Sports PVT.LTD and many more.
Vikas College of Arts, Science & Commerce has well-furnished science laboratories with modern equipment’s, Library which contains more than 23,000 Books, 60 Journals and even E-resources, online databases are made available, Spacious Auditorium, Canteen, Sports & Games, Workshop Labs, Seminar Hall and there are five advanced computer labs with LAN facility.
