Vignan's Lara Institute of Technology & Science Admission
Vignan Lara College Admissions are provisional and follow the rules set by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. If any admission is found to go against these rules at any point, it will be canceled. In such cases, the candidate won't have any claim.
Students are admitted to the 4-year undergraduate programs in two ways. First, Category-A seats (70% of total seats) are filled through the Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh. Second, Category-B seats (30% of total seats) are filled by the management quota.
Category-A seats (70% of the total) are filled through EAMCET, and candidates must:
- Be 16 years old by December 31st of the academic year.
- Be Indian nationals.
- Complete the Intermediate examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Qualify in the EAMCET Examination.
- Satisfy local/non-local status requirements.
Category-B seats (30% of total) consider:
- Indian nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), or candidates from other states/Union Territories.
- NRI candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or CGPA equivalent to 6.
- Admission for the remaining seats can be based on EAMCET ranks or securing at least 50% in the Intermediate examination.
M.Tech and MCA Admission
VLITS offers PG programs such as M.Tech and MCA. M.Tech has four specializations, and candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant branch of engineering & technology from a recognized institute.
- Admission to M.Tech is based on PGECET rank/score. Candidates on the merit list are invited for the counseling round, with preference given to those with a valid GATE score.
- For MCA, admission is through the AP ICET entrance exam. Applicants are selected based on their rank in the entrance exam.
