The Velammal Management College in Chennai is an ISO 2000 certified and was founded in 1995. The department is affiliated with Anna University and approved by AICTE. The department was accredited by the NBA. It is a non-minority, self-financed institution. The faculties also updated through consulting & research projects. Institute provides reimbursement of expenses for the empowerment of the members of the faculty.
- Students receive technical activities such as seminars, invited lectures, conferences, workshops, visits to the industry, etc. The department has equipped all the facilities as standard laboratories, seminar room and multimedia system.
- The online courses of EDX and Alison and the regular sessions in person, the 80:20 internships and the seminars of the guest faculty were more in the already crowded dish.
- The placement cell performs several rounds of aptitude tests, interviews and group discussions. Intensive training and certifications that have been working very hard are beginning to bear fruit, with attractive offers from the best companies.
More than 40 companies are expected. Few recruiters are Bny Mellon, Zoho, Naukri.com, etc. The hostel has capacity for 600 boys and 300 girls. Two students live in a room. The single rooms are accommodated during the last years and for PG students. The chaos is wide with a dining room and a kitchen
