Vel Tech Technical University started in 1997 and has earned an "A" Grade from NAAC. It is also recognized and accredited by the NBA and AICTE. Vel Tech University Course Admission
Students interested in applying for admission to the Vel Tech UG or PG courses must meet all the eligibility criteria. The candidates are admitted based on their performance in the exam and their performance in the prior qualifying examination. The Vel Tech accepts online and offline application admissions. Applicants have to pay the application fee of INR 300/-.
- Aside from B Tech, Vel Tech offers admission to UG courses such as BBA, B Com, BSc, BA LLB, and Bcom LLB. To be eligible for admission to the UG courses, students must pass their 10+2 examinations from any government-recognized board.
- Students aspiring to gain admission to the Department of Law must clear the CLAT/LSAT-India with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
- Students who are willing to apply for the Vel Tech B Tech Admission must appear for the entrance exam conducted by the University.
- However, candidates unable to secure the required cut-off can still fetch a seat for themselves via direct admission to Vel Tech University Chennai.
- No VTUEEE entrance exam is required for direct admission to B Tech at Vel Tech. Candidates may reserve a spot by paying Rs. 100,000.
- Students who have finished a UG Degree can apply for Vel Tech MBA Admission. In addition, they shall have qualified in any of the valid entrance tests: CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT /NMAT/CMAT.
Know about the entrance exam
Vel Tech University Entrance Exam is commonly known as VTUEEE. The examination will take place in two phases. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. It comprises 100 questions with 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The VTUEEE exam will be held in various cities across 21 states.
- Thus, B Tech admission seekers must apply for VTUEEE to secure admission at Vel Tech.
- Considering the performance of the students in VTUEEE, admissions will be granted.
- VTUEEE Counselling will be held after VEL Tech University Results or VTUEEE Results are declared.

Vel Tech University Hostel
Boys' and girls' hostels are available on the Vel Tech campus to accommodate the institute's students in the most welcoming and accommodating way possible. The Vel Tech hostel offers the students a comfortable atmosphere similar to a home away from home. The institute takes great care to give students all the amenities they need to adjust to the new environment successfully.
The mess at the hostel is administered and managed by chefs hired by the University. They bear in mind the various cuisine preferences of the students while using the most up-to-date technology. Clean water is always available for pupils to use. For drinking purposes, clean water is provided. The hostel offers constant electricity, WiFi, a recreation room, medical services, and stores for basic requirements, games, etc.
