Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, now known as Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, was established in 1887. It was renamed VJTI in 1998 and now provides courses at various academic levels. It is located in South Mumbai. VJTI Mumbai has initiated India's Engineering Education, research, and training ecosystem.
