The College of Engineering of Valliammai was founded on September 1999. It is located in an area of ??13.5 hectares. Valliammai Engineering College is sponsored by the Valliammai Society. The school has recognized, dynamic and highly qualified faculties, with an industrial background & academic. In addition, candidates bring laurels to secure the ranks of the university.
- The college offers 7 undergraduate (UG) and 8 postgraduate (PG) courses. The university also offers an Internet facility of 100 Mbps for students and teachers. The members of the faculty are highly qualified and experienced.
- Institute has 264+ young and energetic faculty members work full time and regularly. All laboratories have adequate facilities with the latest equipment and machines. The school encourages aspirants to participate in the activities such as seminars, workshops, symposiums, cultural, games & sports events.
- The institute offers play facilities for cricket, soccer, hockey, volleyball, Ping-Pong, tennis, badminton ball, etc.
- The institute has two separate shelters for men and women, with capacity for about 1200 students. The hostels have the necessary infrastructure, a modern kitchen and rooms with cot, chair and table. Facilities such as wireless Internet connection, CCTV security camera, TV room are available.
