Uttaranchal University is a multidisciplinary hub for 11 Institutions. It offers UG, and PG courses in several disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Science, Law, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Arts, Commerce, etc. Uttaranchal University courses are recognized by UGC. It holds AICTE approval for offering technical education. Other statutory bodies like PCI and BCI have recognized the Pharmacy and Law courses respectively. Besides, it holds membership of AIU and QCI.
Admission is granted based on an entrance test or merit followed by an Interview. In addition, the University also conducts a separate entrance test known as Uttaranchal University Entrance Exam (UUEE) for offering admission to MBA and M Tech. For admission to the Integrated Law Courses, students must undertake the Law Entrance Test (ULET). Besides, it accepts national-level exam scores such as JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, and CMAT. Uttaranchal University Course Admission
Admission to Uttaranchal University is based on merit or entrance test performance. In addition, UU also conducts interviews for aspirants before granting admissions. For MBA and M Tech courses, applicants have to undertake the university-based exam which is Uttaranchal University Entrance Exam. However, students who have qualified in any of the national level exams, are exempted from UUEE.
Out of the total intake, 40% of seats are allotted to the Uttarakhand Domiciles under State Quota. The remaining 60% of seats are allotted to the students from All India. In case, State Quota seats remain vacant after the allotment process, then the seats will be offered by All India Students.
- Students who have passed 10+2 with a min of 60% marks can apply for B Tech in Uttaranchal University. They shall have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subject. Admission to the B Tech is based on JEE Main Entrance Test score.
- Uttaranchal University MBA is available in five specializations. The selection of the applicants will be based on their performance in the entrance test. UU accepts the valid scores of MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, or any other equivalent exam scores.
- Students who have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks can apply for Uttaranchal University Law 5-year integrated courses.
- Students who have bachelor’s degrees with 45% marks can apply for Uttaranchal University LLB.
- Applicants who wish to secure BALLB or BBA LLB admission, have to appear for an entrance test ULET. (Uttaranchal Law Entrance Test) Besides, it also accepts valid score of CLAT scores.
- Applicants must fill out the Uttaranchal University registration form by entering all the basic details.
- At last, make the payment of application fees INR 1200. In addition, applicants have to pay INR 50 as processing fees. Payment can be made online.
