The University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) is a public university in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Established in 1947, the University is one of India's oldest and most prestigious universities. University of Rajasthan Courses and Fees
The University of Rajasthan is home to the country’s first-ever university-wide research and development centre. UNIRAJ Placement Scenario is very impressive. The University's dedicated Career Counselling and Placement Cell handle all the recruitment-relevant activities. In addition, during the placement drive, the cell is responsible for bringing notable companies to the college.

University of Rajasthan Courses Admission
The admissions process for the University of Rajasthan is competitive, and applicants must meet all the required qualifications. For more information, read the University’s admissions policy. In addition, all the courses have specific eligibility criteria.
University of Rajasthan UG Admission
- For UNIRAJ UG Courses, students shall have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- By considering the scores obtained in the qualifying exam, the varsity will create the University of Rajasthan Merit list.
- Students whose names have been mentioned on the merit list can attend centralized counselling.
- In the case of UNIRAJ Law admission, students are required to appear for RULET and ULET Entrance Exam.
- After the conclusion of exams, the University of Rajasthan Results will be available on the website.
- For admission into the University of Rajasthan B.Ed course, the candidates must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50%.
University of Rajasthan PG Admission
- The candidates willing to apply for the University of Rajasthan MBA course must have a minimum of 50% graduation degree. In addition, the candidates must appear in the PIM MAT/CAT /CMAT entrance examinations.
- Admission to the UNIRAJ MSc courses and MA courses is based on the entrance test administrated by the University known as URATPG.
- The University of Rajasthan MSC Entrance Exam question type is MCQ, and there will be 70 questions.
- GATE scores determine admission to the M Tech Programme.
University of Rajasthan Scholarship
UNIRAJ scholarships are available to needy students. There are separate scholarships assigned for each category.
- Daya Krishna Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to the first two position holders in 1st and 2nd semester.
- Sukadev Shashtri Darshan Puruskar: This scholarship is offered to the first position holder in the third and fourth semesters.
- Dr. Sogani, Thakuria & Rajni Singh Memorial Award.
- Dr Ghanshyam Srivastava Commemoration Scholarship.
- Prof. B.C. Joshi Gold Medal.
- Prof. R.C.Mehrotra Memorial Gold Medal.
- Prof. V.N. Pathak Memorial need cum merit Scholarship.
- Rukmani Devi Mishra Scholarship.
- Smt.Vimla Gupta Memorial Scholarship.
- ONGC Scholarship: Rs. 5000 per month (for one year) to the First position holder in the first year of M.Sc. (Geology).
- The University of Wroclaw, Poland Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to the PhD students.
Apart from the abovementioned scholarships, candidates from the SC/ ST or Reserved category can benefit from scholarships offered by the Central and State Govt. To apply for such scholarships, candidates must visit the official website of the respective government.
University of Rajasthan Facilities
Library: The University of Rajasthan has a central library with a seating capacity of about 700 students. With more than 5 lac books and bound periodicals, the library subscribes to about 60 current journals and popular magazines relating to various subjects. In addition, about 10500 e-Journals are available for online access under e-Shodh Sindhu Consortium.
Sports Complex: The University of Rajasthan has a modern sports complex. Facilities for all major indoor and outdoor games, a fully developed indoor stadium, and a yoga centre are the unique attractions of the complex.
Hostel facilities: The University provides hostel facilities to its students. The hostels are equipped with all the basic facilities including table chairs, wardrobe, mess facilities etc. The University has a total of 19 hostels- out of which 14 hostels are on the university campus while the rest are in the affiliated colleges.
