The University of Allahabad is a central university established in 1887. It began as an affiliating & examining authority for UG and PG degrees with a classical orientation and the responsibility for secondary education. At least thirty-eight regional institutions and colleges are affiliated with Allahabad University.
Allahabad University regained its status as a "Central University" in 2005. Besides, it has been declared an "Institute of National Importance". Moreover, it has been ranked among the Top 100 Universities in India by QS. It offers full-time courses at UG, PG, certificate, and doctorate levels. Allahabad University Course Admission
Applicants need to meet the requirements before applying for admission.
- Passing a recognized 10+2 board examination with the minimum required aggregate scores is the most fundamental requirement for admission to UG courses.
- Admission to UG courses, except for B.Tech, is based on the scores in CUET.
- Applicants are shortlisted for Allahabad University B.Tech admission based on JEE Main scores.
- Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed shall have possessed a bachelor's degree with minimum aggregate marks.
- To be admitted to the Allahabad University MBA program, candidates must pass the PGAT entrance exam, participate in group discussions, and conduct a personal interview.
- Candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB must appear for LFAT administrated by the University.

Allahabad University Facilities
The University aims to be excellent in teaching, research, and innovation. It uses modern teaching methods and technology to help students learn better.
