The Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) is a government-aided college located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It came into existence in 1957, 65 years ago. It is the oldest engineering college allied with Anna University. AICTE approves Thiagarajar College of Engineering Courses. In the year 1987, TCE was granted Autonomy status. Besides, It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an "A+" grade. Through innovative education, applied research, and industrial contact, TCE seeks to develop qualified professionals to fulfill the burgeoning industrial and societal needs. TCE Madurai offers UG, and PG courses in the streams of Engineering, Computer Applications, Architecture, and Science. B Tech, B Arch, M Tech, MCA, and M Arch are the available courses that are taught using several pedagogies. The credit system for UG and PG courses is based on student preference. According to the TCE Madurai course-specific requirements, a variable evaluation style is used. TCE courses are only available in a full-time format. I need to confess that it is one of the best college for pursuing architecture right now am pursuing B Arch in 3rd year. College provides best facilities and also infrastructure is nice and to confess about course fee it is actually reasonable in terms of education wise and I can say it is feasible too. Teaching faculties are good at providing quality training through innovative methodologies. Placement scenario and internship opportunities are actually good and several reputed companies visited the campus for the recruitment process overall I can recommend this college to anyone who wish to pursue B Arch studies.
