The Erode College of Pharmacy is a leading educational institute established under patronage of Erode Educational Trust in the year 1992. It is been approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The college is set up in Veppampalayam, Coimbatore Highway sprawling across 9.7 acres and the college is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai. They fascilitate the students with Library, Laboratory, Lecture hall, Computer lab, Auditorium, Animal House, Drug Information Centre, Museum, Recreation activities and sports also hostel accommodation.

Candidates for Pharm D must pass a 10+2 / PDC / PUC / HSC or equivalent Physics exam from a recognized board. The TN Dr MGR Medical University administers the Entrance Test on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State government, and admission to Pharm D at ECP is based on the results. The performance of applicants in the entrance examination is used to create a merit list. Applicants whose names will appear on the merit list will be invited to participate in the admissions process.
