Thapar University Admission is based on the entrance test and academic merit. It accepts the valid scores of national-level exams to grant admission. TIET Conducts separate online entrance tests for BBA, BSc, and BA admission. Those who qualify in the Thapar University entrance test must undergo a personal interview. • Aspirants who have cleared the GATE Exam can only avail of scholarships if AICTE releases the amount. (Applicable for Intake approved by AICTE)
• Candidates with a valid GATE score but not getting the scholarships from AICTE or other funding agencies will receive INR 12k per month from the university side.
• Non-GATE Students who have obtained above 70% in Bachelor's degree BE/B Tech are eligible to access merit scholarships.
