Thanthai Periyar Government College is situated at Bagayam, Vellore. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the Government of Tamil Nadu oversees it. TPGIT Vellore was founded in July 1990. Under B Tech, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, CSE, and EEE are on the Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology Courses list. Under M Tech, it offers Structural Engineering and Applied electronics & Manufacturing Engineering. Students who complete the admission formalities must make the TPGIT Fees Payment. The course fee structure for B Tech is INR 10k per annum. The total cost for M Tech is 20,000 per annum.
Candidates must first satisfy the requirements for TGPIT Vellore Admission. For undergraduate B Tech courses, seats will be assigned through TNEA Counselling based on 10+2 merit. Applicants must register for the counseling based on 12th marks. Later, Anna University will put up the TNEA Merit list by compiling the scores of 10+2. Those who satisfy the Thanthai Periyar College Vellore Cut Off can secure admission seats based on ranking. Admission to the M Tech and MCA courses is solely based on TANCET scores followed by TANCA Counseling.
TPGIT is a Zone 6 of Anna University. A hostel facility is available to boys and girls inside the college premises. All the required amenities are available to outsiders. There is a mess that serves nutritious food. TPGIT Hostel fees is very much affordable. Cost between INR 5 to 6K.
