Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is a famous university in Tamil Nadu, India. It started in 1971. TNAU is very important for farming education and research in India. Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Courses Admission

The TNAU admission process involves an online application form, appearing for the entrance exam, and document verification. In addition, candidates must submit proof of eligibility, such as a mark list. Before applying for admission, students must make sure of the eligibility criteria. All the courses offered by TNAU have separate eligibility and selection criteria.

  • Under the UG discipline, the courses, namely B.Tech and B.Sc, are offered.
  • The aspirants seeking admission into the TNAU UG Courses must be 10+2 pass out with a minimum of 50%.
  • For TNAU B.Tech admission, the candidate must have a combination of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology OR Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science from a recognized board or its equivalent.
  • The selection procedure is 10+2 merit, followed by TNAU Counselling.
  • The University offers MBA, M.Tech, and M.Sc courses under the Postgraduate discipline.
  • The basic eligibility criteria are to have graduated from any of the recognized universities with a CGPA of 6.6 out of 10 (6.50 for reserved category students)
  • The selection is made on the performance in the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Entrance Exam along with the performance in the group discussion
  • Based on the TNAU Entrance Exam Results, Varisty will create the merit list. Such applicants are mandated to appear for Counselling.

Library: The University Library has over two million items, including books, theses, journals, and CDs on agricultural science. The library uses Koha software to automate its operations. In general, the fee structure of TNAU for B.Sc. is INR 1.65 lakhs on an average for the complete course. The first-year fee is approx. INR 48k. The remaining three-year fee is INR 39k. The entire course fee constitutes of exam fee, tuition fee and other fees. This is the general fee provided.
